LEO HARRIS AWARD

for outstanding service to the British Riding Clubs movement

Rugby Riding Club’s Val Malka was honored by the British Horse Society at a glittering awards ceremony held at Saddlers Hall, London in November 2005, where she was presented with the Leo Harris Award for outstanding service to the British Riding Club movement.

Val represents the club on the Area 5 liaison committee and organises the teams and individuals for Rugby at Area 5 events, her organisation, enthusiasm and drive have been a contributory factor to the success of Rugby Riding Club in Area 5 competitions at both local and national level.

 Val is a fine example of everything British Riding Clubs looks for in its members and volunteers – committed, selfless, supportive, enthusiastic, and approachable and in short, the British Horse Society are delighted to acknowledge Val’s hard work with this much deserved award.
